Allah says in the Qur’an:
“So know that there is no deity except Allah.” (Surah Muhammad 47:19)

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever meets Allah without doubting La Ilaha Illallah will enter Paradise.” (Muslim)
3. Acceptance (Al-Qabool)
A person must accept everything that comes with La Ilaha Illallah, including Allah’s commands and guidance. Rejecting any part of Islam contradicts true acceptance.
4. Submission (Al-Inqiyad)
Submission means obeying Allah sincerely through actions and worship. A Muslim should willingly follow Allah’s laws and teachings.
Allah says:
“And whoever submits his face to Allah while being a doer of good has grasped the most trustworthy handhold.” (Surah Luqman 31:22)
5. Truthfulness (As-Sidq)
The Shahadah must be spoken truthfully from the heart, not merely by the tongue. Hypocrisy and false faith invalidate sincerity.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“No one testifies sincerely from his heart that there is no god but Allah except that Allah will forbid the Fire for him.” (Bukhari)
6. Sincerity (Al-Ikhlas)
All worship should be done purely for Allah alone, without showing off or seeking praise from others.
Allah says:
“And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion.” (Surah Al-Bayyinah 98:5)
7. Love (Al-Mahabbah)
A believer must love Allah, His Messenger ﷺ, and the meaning of La Ilaha Illallah. This love should be greater than worldly attachments.
Allah says:
“But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:165)
